Welcome to Skutskepparn Coastal Station

Skutskepparn Kuststation is a restaurant and B&B located in the heart of the High Coast World Heritage Site. We have a large selection of vegetarian and vegan options.

We will open for the season on May 29, 2025 - look under EVENTS to see events during the winter until next season. Until the season starts we offer Sunday Buffet from 12-18 every Sunday.

Hike on the World Heritage Trail

Discover the beautiful nature of the High Coast by hiking the ten-mile World Heritage Trail that runs through Nordingrå parish.

Visit the root page

The root side is a 4 km long stretch of coastline with beautifully polished and flat diabase slopes, framed by windswept coastal pines and dwarf spruces.

Port of Bean

Bönhamn is a quiet, genuine fishing harbor with red boathouses and beautiful yeast walls.
On a sunny day, you can enjoy our sandy beach and rocky outcrops for sunbathing and swimming.

Barsta Chapel

The beautifully decorated 17th century chapel was used both for services and as a storage shed for seasonal fishermen, it was used from its completion in 1665 until the early 1900s.

Fällsvik mini-museum

In the neighboring village of Fällsvik you will find a small mini museum with pictures and local history. Well worth a visit if you are interested in history or if you just want to feel the wings of the past.
